Happy New Year to all!　Tendo Taijin ,Tokyo Japon

Happy New Year to all!

As some of you might already know, "La Voix des Poètes" has started 14th,October 2006 with a well known poet, Ms. Kazuko Shiraishi's reciting voice at the gallery in central Tokyo.

The purposes of this project was to change Tokyo a place where poets could read and recite their own poems. Also it gave good opportunities for poets to train the presentation of their own reading voices.

As a director and producer, I have been watching every event of "La Voix des Poetes" and just had 873th on December 28 2012, that made 7years and 2 months since its start. It will reach 900th event on March 2013 and is likely to reach 1000th during this year. This means that there is this event held at least once in three days.

I wonder if there is any poetry event project like this in the world. Would you let me know if you know anything like this in your country?

There have been 145 poets having come to attend from all the places of Japan including 2 American poets. 8 galleries in Tokyo area have kindly offering their spaces for this event.
It is most grateful to receive corporation from companies and individuals.

Please let me once remind you that in 2013, Tokyo is becoming a town of poetry you can always listen to the poetries recited by poets themselves !
